Introduction
Serge is an Information Technology professional with over 10 years of experience supporting business solution software and analyzing business operations. His area of expertise lies within the Web Hosting sector, in which he provided Tier 2 Technical Support to partners. He lead countless web migrations projects and participated in others at different levels of a project’s scope.
Serge holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, as well as a Certificate of bilingualism in French and English from York University. He has also obtained the Oracle Certified Professional MySQL 5 database Administrator, Zend Certified PHP Engineer, and CompTIA Linux+ System Administrator designations.
Industries experience
Telematics:
Serge worked within the “Telematics“ industry in which he participated in the effort of having customers’ vehicles equipped with an “Electronic Logging Device” (ELD) as required by the “Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration” (FMCSA). He also contributed to maintain and grow the company’s revenues by providing top-notch technical expertise to its customer base regarding issues that are associated with their “Internet of Things” (IoT) hardware and its software issues.
Hospitality:
While working within the hospitality industry, Serge contributed to upholding the organization’s Service Level Agreement and maintained revenues by providing technical support to its French and English speaking customer base regarding issues with their “Point of Sales” (POS) equipment such as routers, printers, scanners, computer workstations, or software.
Health and Wellness ( Supply Chain Management):
After leaving the hospitality industry, Serge secured himself a position as an IT Specialist within the distribution sector. He played a substantial role in the management and support of an “Enterprise Resources Planning” (ERP) based solution. He also participated in the effort to upgrade the organization’s System Architecture.
